Often I believe that the best murder mysteries are told only when are not really scary. One such is "Murder, she wrote" - Based on an old woman, Angela Lansbury as "Jesicca Fletcher", who reveals the truth behind every muder through her dedication and insight.
Since its an old woman who acts as a detective, you dont expect the fights or the heavy chases and murder sequences in a Hitchcock movies. Still this series has a lot to offer you when you watch this during the night. Im sure you will be lured to the way Jessica Fletcher deals with the case.
My best of this series is "The Celtic Riddle" and "The Last Free Man"
The last free man - watch it when you find time.
